Causes and Solutions for Material Ejection During the Production Process of a Food Extruder

Reasons for food extruder spitting material:

1) The extractor stops feeding, causing the workshop to shut down in sequence;

2) The feeding screw conveyor of the food extruder has poor material flow at the inlet;

3) The direct steam of the food extruder is too high;

4) The material supply to the extruder suddenly decreases;

5) The countercurrent dryer high material level alarm triggers the extruder feeding screw conveyor to shut down in sequence; Handling methods:

1) When the food extruder spits material, first close the direct steam valve of the extruder either on the computer or on-site, and retract the cone die head.

2) Analyze the cause of the spitting material and handle it;

3) Eliminate the cause of the fault and clean the accumulated material at the discharge port of the feeding screw conveyor (when cleaning the screw conveyor, power off and lock the main motor of the extruder and the feeding screw conveyor; be careful of burns from backflow steam).

4) Unlock and power on the extruder to start production.
