Correct operation method of the puffing machine

1. The machine head, core, screw, and other components must be disassembled before operating the machine. Before running the machine, it is very important to thoroughly clean rice scale and oil stains, then dry and reassemble after cleaning.

2. Start and run the machine for about one minute, then slowly add raw materials to the feed inlet. When the raw materials can fill the ring groove around the screw shaft head, stop feeding and perform friction preheating. When the machine head temperature rises and the pressure in the barrel increases, and the nozzle begins to discharge, resume feeding. Since the temperature and pressure in the barrel have not yet reached normal levels, gradually increase the feed rate.

3. The feed should be continuous and uniform, and the material should be dry; otherwise, it is easy to block the spiral groove.

4. When the spiral groove is found to be blocked, do not stop the machine immediately. Instead, stop feeding for a while while continuing to run the machine until a burnt smell is detected, then stop the machine. This can prevent the nozzle spiral shaft sleeve from seizing. If the nozzle spiral shaft sleeve is seized and cannot be disassembled, do not force it off by hitting. It can be removed from the machine body, heated in a fire for a while, and then disassembled.

5. When the nozzle fails to form the product at the initial stage of operation, it is often due to the high temperature of the nozzle head, caused by overly dry raw materials, foreign objects in the spiral groove, or discontinuous feeding. The cause should be identified based on the specific situation, and the fault should be cleared.

6. After stopping feeding at the end of the operation, let the machine run idle for about 1 minute to empty the material in the barrel, then shut down. Remove the hot head, spiral sleeve, and pull out the screw to eliminate residues left in the barrel, and clear the injection holes to ensure smoothness for reuse. Note: Wear gloves during disassembly to prevent burns.
