Precautions before and after starting and stopping the feed extruder

Precautions before and after starting/stopping the feed extruder:

1. Check all components, especially the connecting parts of the expansion chamber, anchor bolts, connections between the motor base and the frame, and the connection between the expansion chamber and the frame, to prevent loosening.

2. Manually turn the screw; there should be no friction sound inside the expansion chamber at this time.

3. Start the feed auger, check its high-speed performance, and ensure normal operation.

4. Before starting, check and confirm the lubrication system and cooling system. The cavity needs to be cleaned.

5. Before starting, check the connections of the electrical control section, whether the rotation direction of each motor is correct, and whether the control is reliable.

6. After the machine stops, put on high-temperature gloves, quickly remove the mold, and immediately clean any remaining material from the mold. Then start the main motor to empty the material accumulated in the expansion chamber. When the corn is puffed, add soybean flour to flush the material in the chamber.

7. Pay attention to safety during unloading. No one should stand in front of the machine to avoid danger caused by excessive pressure in the expansion chamber.

Do not stop the equipment arbitrarily after it is operating normally.

During normal startup, first start the conditioner, then start the feed winch. While the material is being conditioned, turn on the main motor, add a small amount of water to the expansion chamber, and feed the material into the expansion chamber. When the material is being extruded, adjust the product, swelling effect, moisture, etc.

When production progress falls behind (i.e., there is still material in the raw material warehouse), the shutdown sequence is the feeding winch and the flattening machine. Then, when the current indication value of the main machine on the electronic control cabinet becomes the no-load current value, stop the main motor and the oil pump motor, then quickly remove the mold for cleaning. After cleaning, reinstall the screws and mold, and wait for the next startup.
