Extrusion machinery and equipment
The versatility of puffing machinery makes it widely used in the feed, food, and industrial sectors. Based on the extruder (dry, wet, single-screw, or twin-screw), we introduce one or a set of functions during the puffing process. These functions are:
Degassing: Removing air bubbles from food or feed ingredients during the puffing process.
Dehydration: During the puffing of general food or feed, the moisture content will decrease by 4%-7% from the original level.
Agglomeration: During the puffing process, food or feed can be tightly bound together, forming discrete fragments.
Gelatinization: In the processing of food or pet feed, extrusion cooking can gelatinize starch.

Grinding effect: During food or feed processing, raw materials can be ground to a certain extent in the extruder.
Expansion: The working conditions and configuration of the extruder can control the density (such as sinking or floating) of pet feed and aquatic feed.
Homogenization: The homogenization of the extruder changes the structure of unattractive materials into a more acceptable form.
Mixing effect: During the extrusion process, various extruders have multiple screw options, allowing the extrusion machinery to achieve the required amount of mixing.
Pasteurization or sterilization: During food or feed extrusion, raw materials can be pasteurized or sterilized through extrusion technology.
