Microwave drying equipment is a new type of drying method. During drying, microwave energy directly acts on the medium molecules and converts into thermal energy. Due to the penetrating property of microwaves, the medium is heated both internally and externally simultaneously without the need for heat conduction, resulting in extremely fast heating speed. For food with a moisture content below 30%, the drying speed can be shortened by hundreds of times. At the same time, regardless of the shape of the object, because the medium is heated both internally and externally simultaneously, the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the material is small, and the heating is uniform. This prevents the occurrence of burnt exterior and raw interior commonly seen in conventional heating, greatly improving the drying quality.

Microwave is a high-frequency wave that oscillates at a rate of 2.4 billion times per second, causing high-speed rotational motion of water molecules. Their mutual friction generates significant heat, enabling convenient drying of materials.
After absorbing microwave energy and converting it into heat, the temperature of the object rises, causing the moisture inside to evaporate, dehydrate, and dry. By appropriately controlling the dehydration rate, the structure of the material can become loose and puffed during drying. In this process, the heating temperature can also be adjusted to a higher level, placing the object in a baking state.
