Analysis of Common Faults in Extruded Feed Machinery

Jinan extrusion feed machinery is a type of extruded feed processing equipment. The processing materials are usually common grains such as rice, corn, and soybeans. Its working principle is easy to understand, which is to convert mechanical energy into thermal energy. Because the factory's extruder needs to process large quantities of grain, this also leads to its long-term operation, which can cause various malfunctions. Reasons for material ejection from twin-screw extrusion feed machinery

1. The extractor stops feeding, causing a chain shutdown in the workshop;

2. The feeding at the screw inlet of the extruder is not smooth;

3. The direct steam of the extrusion feed machinery is too high;

4. The feed to the expander decreases instantaneously;

5. The counterflow dryer high-level alarm triggers a chain shutdown of the expander feed winch; Handling method:

(1) The extruder of the puffing feed machinery needs to first close the direct steam valve of the extruder either via the computer or on-site, and then remove the conical die head.

(2) Analyze the cause of spraying and handle it.

(3) Eliminate the cause of the fault, clean the accumulated material at the feed inlet of the winch (when cleaning the winch, turn off the main motor of the expander and shut down the feed winch; beware of steam burns).

(4) Unlock the power transmission and start the expander for production.

Secondly, the extruder belt slips.

1. The transmission belt of the puffing feed machinery is too loose, causing slipping.

2. The load on the expander is too high (large feed volume, low steam supply, poor output from the conical die head, etc.).

Solution:

The main results are as follows: (1) If slipping caused by a loose belt is due to belt looseness, the motor breakpoint locking contact machine can repair the inflatable belt.

(2) If the load is too large, the belt will slip. If the belt slips severely, first remove the conical mold, close the small steam valve, reduce the feed rate of the extruder, and adjust the feed when the extruder current decreases to normal. Add the amount of steam and material into the mold. When entering the mold, pay attention to changes in the extruder motor current. After the mold returns to normal, slowly increase the feed rate and steam amount until the extruder is fully loaded. If the belt slips slightly, adjust the steam amount or feed rate. Generally, adjust the steam amount.

3. Overload shutdown of puffing feed machinery

1. When the expander itself loses power, close the direct steam valve of the expander, and at the same time, open the indirect steam heating of the conical mold expander's cylinder to heat the expander and the material inside. Prevent the material from sticking together after cooling, which could block the blower and cause difficulty in starting the machine.

Extrusion machinery and equipment

Start the expander. If the expander cannot be started within half an hour, remove the material from the chamber.

2. In the event of a power outage in the entire workshop, open the bypass pneumatic valve of the expander, close the direct steam valve of the extruder, open the indirect steam valve of the extruder, isolate the material in the extruder and the machine, and handle it after communication.
